Year-round, proactive longevity care

Move beyond “sick care” with year-round, proactive health management designed to keep you operating at your peak.

A better approach to your health

Traditional medicine intervenes after disease has already taken hold. At Ikigai, we focus on acting earlier — identifying risk, tracking meaningful signals over time, and guiding decisions that reduce future disease burden while supporting how you want to live today.

Foundations is our core offering: a continuous medical partnership designed to manage your whole health over time — to not only prevent illness but maximize your quality of life. It serves as your medical anchor, whether you are managing existing conditions, addressing emerging risks, or committed to aging well with clarity and intention.

A couple in their fifties enjoying an active, healthy life together

A Dedicated Medical Team

You are supported by a medical team that knows your history, understands your trends, and works with you over years — not visits.

Proactive & Preventive Focus

Care is centered on reducing risk across cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, cancer, and cognitive decline, while supporting physical capacity and hormonal health.

Individualized Care

Testing and interventions are based on your unique risk, not a standardized protocol.

Early Risk Identification

Foundations is designed to identify meaningful health risks earlier than traditional healthcare systems, often before symptoms develop or standard screening thresholds are met. By leveraging advanced diagnostics, longitudinal data, and clinical context, we detect emerging risk at a stage where intervention is most effective — allowing for thoughtful risk reduction rather than reactive disease management.

How care works in Foundations

01

Comprehensive Baseline Assessment

We establish a deep understanding of your health using advanced biomarkers and in-depth functional and structural assessments.

02

Ongoing Monitoring

We track trends — not snapshots — across key health domains such as glucose regulation, blood pressure, fitness, and body composition.

03

Interpretation & Guidance

We synthesize your results, explain what matters most, and help translate data into sustainable action based on rigorous medical science.

04

Ongoing Access & Follow-Up

Regular touchpoints, structured follow-ups, and summary reports ensure continuity and clarity.

Areas addressed

  • Metabolic health and glucose regulation
  • Cardiovascular risk and vascular health
  • Cancer screening and prevention strategies
  • Cognitive and brain health risk mitigation
  • Hormonal health, when clinically indicated
  • Nutrition and exercise guidance
  • Physical capacity, including strength, mobility, and aerobic fitness

Advanced diagnostics — such as DEXA scans for body composition, VO₂ max testing, coronary calcium scoring, CT angiography, or whole-body MRI — may be incorporated when appropriate through shared decision-making.

Common questions

Do you take insurance?

We are a private, cash-pay practice and do not accept or bill health insurance for our membership or service fees. This model allows us to work directly for you — not an insurance company — ensuring your care is dictated by what you need, not what a plan covers. However, you can still use your health insurance for medications at your pharmacy, and in many cases for outside imaging or referrals, depending on your plan.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Generally, membership fees are not eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement because they are often classified as “access fees” rather than direct medical care. However, specific medical expenses incurred during your program — such as specialized lab work, diagnostic testing, or imaging — may be eligible depending on your plan's rules.

Do I need to live near one of your offices?

No. We serve clients globally through advanced telemedicine and remote monitoring tools. However, we do require your initial evaluation to be in-person — you'll visit our facility for your “Day One” testing (which may include DEXA scans, VO₂ max testing, and extensive blood panels). After that initial visit, your ongoing care can be entirely remote.

Your partner for long-term health

Foundations is for individuals who want a long-term, personal medical partnership grounded in prevention, evidence, and continuity. Let's talk about whether it's right for you.
